GSI Foundation donates 50 “Cordoba” guitars to students in the Chicago area.

As many of you know, most teaching is now done online during the time of this pandemic. Unfortunately, not all students own an instrument they could practice on while staying at home, and therefore cannot learn and practice music. On the occasion of The 1st Lead Guitar Virtual Showcase, the GSI Foundation donated 50 “Cordoba” guitars to the Lead Guitar students in the Chicago area who didn’t own a guitar. The first batch of 25 beautiful “Cordoba” guitars has already been shipped to private households as well as to public schools in Chicago for families to pick-up. We’re already working on sending the second batch of an additional 25 guitars very soon. We hope that this donation will not only allow more children to take music lessons remotely, but also to participate in the Lead Guitar Virtual Showcase. At this virtual showcase they’ll have a chance to perform together with people from around the world, including guitar celebrities whose names are going to be revealed soon. Stay tuned!
